For the technical difficulties of horizontal well, our company independent research and development the low damage of non-bentonite temporary plugging drilling fluid technology, which is suitable for horizontal well drilling requirements. Based on the technology of temporary plugging, no-clay, change the wettability of rock surface in reservoir, change the filtrate properties, the technology can effectively solve the technical problems of large exposure area in the process of drilling horizontal wells, long drilling cycle caused by the reservoir protection wellbore stability, to ensure that the horizontal well drilling safely and quickly, provide the technical supports for the economic and high efficient development of unconventional reservoirs with low pressure and low permeability.

The technical characteristics of the low damage of non-bentonite temporary plugging drilling fluid technology:

①No clay phase, to avoid the damage of argillaceous components to the reservoir;

② Drilling fluid filter cake can be acidification, acidification rate is above 90%, conducive to subsequent acidification reconstruction operation;

③Low filtration（≤4ml）, the speed of low permeability layer forming is fast, in a reverse pressure cases, easy to be cleared;

④Density is controlled, 120℃ heat resistance, good rheological property, strong inhibition;

⑤Good lubrication performance, slider friction coefficient at around 0.05, especially suitable for the need of drilling horizontal section security;

⑥Low damage, indoor evaluation damage rate is 10.32% on average, can effectively protect the reservoir.
